NMDP is excited to be part of the UNC Health & Safety Festival, and we're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us educate students, grow the NMDP Registry, and make a life-saving impact on campus.

The Health & Safety Festival brings together students and organizations dedicated to promoting health, wellness, and community. As an NMDP volunteer, you'll help students learn how a simple cheek swab can give patients battling blood cancers and blood disorders a second chance at life.
 

Whether you're passionate about healthcare, service, or simply giving back, this is a great opportunity to connect with fellow students while supporting a mission that saves lives.

🌟 Volunteer Roles Include:

• Greeting and engaging with students attending the festival

• Sharing how the NMDP Registry works and why donor diversity matters

• Assisting individuals through the quick and easy registration process

• Answering questions about blood stem cell donation and NMDP's mission

• Creating an inviting, energetic, and educational experience for attendees
   

Each year, thousands of patients diagnosed with blood cancers like leukemia or lymphoma depend on finding a matching donor for a second chance at life. For more than 30 years, NMDP has managed the world's most diverse marrow registry—connecting patients with the cures they need. Join us in helping make the UNC Health & Safety Festival a meaningful experience for students and an opportunity to bring hope to patients waiting for their perfect match.
