Inventory Sale in Mercer County

Dress for Success is a global not-for-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Dress for Success' Inventory Sales are an opportunity for them to raise money for the clients and the program. During Inventory Sales, volunteers help customers with selecting items, filling in the inventory and more. The volunteers will work with clients to help them choose professional clothing.

NEED-TO-KNOW

• ​The volunteers will be helping customers as they walk around looking for clothes

• ​The volunteers will be filling in inventory of all different types of items

• ​Volunteers will set up the sale by moving the rolling racks to the front of the office, making sure all the proper paperwork is ready and they will also help with checking out the customers by counting items and writing up the sale sheets.

• ​There will be long periods of standing during the shifts so make sure to wear shoes that are comfortable

• ​What to wear : Nice clothes

• ​What not to wear: shorts, holes in jeans, ripped t-shirts, logos on t-shirts

Waivers: All projects have non-negotiable age restrictions that are noted on the upper right side of each project description. If you meet the age restriction but are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian complete the required youth waiver and bring with you to the project. Adults attending the project can expedite the registration process by printing the adult waiver in advance, sign and bring with you.
