About this Opportunity
More Than Apples helps rescue food destined for the landfill to fight food insecurity in North County families. At their weekly food distribution, volunteers sort and divide large amounts of food into individual boxes available to families for a small donation.
Before COVID-19 hit, MTA served about 75 families weekly, now the size of their operation has doubled. They need more hands to get food into the homes that need it.
