About this Opportunity
Pet Community Center serves more than 20,000 animals annually through our programming. Since our launch in 2011, Nashville's shelter intake has decreased by more than 50%! Volunteers greatly help our staff in our Spay + Neuter & Vaccine clinic. With your help, our staff is able to focus more on our patients and our mission to strengthen the human-animal bond through accessible veterinary care and support services.
We need volunteers in our clinic to help with tasks such as:
- Laundry
- Open Syringes & draw up vaccines
- Some administrative tasks such as scanning & shredding old records
- Cut fabric for cat cage covers
- Sterilize surgical instruments for spay+neuter surgery
- Cleaning carriers, empty cages, and traps
- Other Possible Projects: Painting, Organizing, Assemble e-collars, Making surgical packs
Opportunities will change day to day. No experience is necessary!
Hours for volunteering are Monday-Thursday from 8am-4:30pm
Volunteers may choose the length of their shift that best fits their schedule.
