Vacaville-CMC: Mobile Food Pharmacy Distribution 2025

Volunteers are needed to help distribute fresh produce and non-perishable items as part of the Mobile Food Pharmacy program provided by Solano County and the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation who have partnered with the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano. This is a great way to learn about Food Bank programs in action while helping us distribute food directly to neighbors in need. This position does require frequent standing, bending, and the ability to lift during this volunteer opportunity.

• All volunteers must be individually scheduled and must be 18 years of age or older. Team Registration is not available for this opportunity.
• Masks are optional for all volunteer shifts.
• All volunteers must sign a volunteer confidentiality agreement.
• Volunteers need to arrive no later than the shift start time.
• If you sign up for a shift that you cannot attend, please log into your account and remove yourself so that someone else can sign up to help us.
• All volunteers must wear a nametag and closed-toed shoes.
• Volunteers may be asked to stand, bend, and lift boxes or bags.
• Dress according to the weather — as distributions take place outdoors, rain or shine.
• Individuals needing court-ordered community service MUST complete the court-ordered community service request online and be accepted prior to signing up for a shift.
