About this Opportunity

The First Congregational Church of Revere Food Pantry & the City of Revere are serving the surrounding communities battling food insecurity. The First Congregational Church of Revere Food Pantry is an emergency food provider for food insecure families in our community. The FCC Food Pantry has been serving Revere and the surrounding area for over 36 years. They serve about 300+ families each Wednesday from 6-8 pm. The First, Third, and Fifth Monday (when applicable) except when there is a holiday, and the Second and Fourth Tuesday of each month, volunteers are needed to bring in food delivered from the Greater Boston Food Bank. You will be part of a team of volunteers who will bring food after it has been unloaded and dropped off into the Church's storage and packing area.  Volunteers will lift packages of food that weigh between 5-40 lbs.  T Accessibility & Parking: 119 On the 110,117 and 411 MBTA Bus Line, Parking Lot is available nearby. If you are driving, please park at the Immaculate Conception Church at 133 Beach St. Revere, Ma 02151. Then proceed to walk 1 block North to the First Congregational Church 230 Beach Street Revere, Ma 02151. The Church is located on the corner of Beach Street and School Street.
