New Volunteer Orientation

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Memphis Public Libraries. Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Memphis Public Libraries' daily programs and events, and we want to ensure that they you have a positive experience – one that motivates you to become an active and committed team member of the Library. Before you get started, you must attend an orientation at the Central location. This orientation is designed to learn more about your interest, and finalize any paperwork that you may need to complete. Please note all summer positions may be limited. Orientations are held EVERY 3rd Tuesday of Each Month at 5:30 PM. Orientation is in-person at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library.
