Join NMDP at the University of Utah’s Sunnyside Apartments Block Party for a fun morning of connecting with residents, building community, and sharing a mission that can make a life-saving difference!

The Sunnyside Apartments Block Party is a great opportunity to meet University of Utah students and residents, enjoy a community event, and introduce them to the NMDP mission. Volunteers will help attendees learn how a quick cheek swab can give them the opportunity to potentially become a matching donor for a patient with a blood cancer or blood disease.

🌟 Volunteer Roles Include:

• Greeting and engaging with residents and event attendees

• Sharing how the NMDP Registry works and why donor diversity matters

• Helping eligible individuals through the quick and simple registration process

• Answering questions and sharing information about NMDP

• Creating a welcoming, energetic, and positive presence at the event

• Encouraging community members to get involved and support the NMDP mission
   

Each year, thousands of patients diagnosed with blood cancers like leukemia or lymphoma depend on finding a matching donor for a second chance at life. For more than 30 years, NMDP has managed the world’s most diverse marrow registry—connecting patients with the cures they need.
