About this Opportunity
At United Way Suncoast, our focus on Educational Opportunity, Financial Security and Community Resiliency creates an interconnected path that empowers individuals with the Freedom To Rise. Our goal is to uplift ALICE families - Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed - as they cultivate a future beyond the circumstantial constraints put on them.
This month, we invite you to volunteer your time by creating Children Mental Health Kits for youth across our Suncoast Region. These kits will include essential tools that promote self-care, emotional well-being, and positivity, helping children build a strong foundation for mental and emotional resilience.
How to Volunteer:
1. Let Us Know: Click "express interest" below to let us know you plan to participate- no further sign-up needed!
2. Assemble Your Kits: Refer to our Children Mental Health Kit guide for suggested items and step by step instructions. We recommend a minimum of 20 kits.
3. Coordinate Your Drop-off: Once your kits are ready, email us at [email protected] to let us know quantity and type of kit you created. We'll schedule an in-person drop off at one of our locations in Bradenton or Tampa (appointment required).
4. Log Your Volunteer Time: Submit your volunteer time through this form.
Thank you for being a part of the change. Together, we can make a lasting impact—one kit, one family, one future at a time.
