About this Opportunity
Martin County - Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County is seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with general tasks and provide support in academic and personal enrichment activities. This opportunity offers the ability to make meaningful impacts on the lives of the youth we serve by enhancing their educational and personal development.
Choice of four clubs located throughout the county -Hobe Sound, Indiantown, Downtown Stuart, and Port Salerno. For additional information, contact the Volunteer Manager at 772-545-1255 or [email protected].
Key responsibilities/Specific tasks:
- Assist with preferred grade level or task such as organizing materials, setting up equipment, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Engage with youth and staff in academic enrichment activities, including tutoring, homework assistance, and assisting teachers with lessons.
- Foster a positive and safe environment during SPARK activities, including supervision, setting up planned sports activities, fostering teamwork, and being a positive role model.
Volunteer timeframe:
2:30 PM - 5:30 PM
