Magnificent Quran Tour | Charlotte NC | May 2026

On Sunday, May 17, Islamic Relief USA will be hosting the Magnificent Quran Tour Fundraising Dinner for our Qurbani and Orphan campaign! The Qurbani and Orphan campaigns allow us to provide meat and necessities to families and children in need across the world. We need our volunteers to help make this event a huge success! 

The night will be featuring:

Speaker: Sh. Ammar AlShukry
Qaris: Sh. Nady Kishk and Sh. Abdellah Marhoum
Fundraiser: Mohamed Ahmed

We need all volunteers to help promote this event. We will hold a mandatory *virtual* meeting to plan and coordinate for the event.

Location: Al Nour Community Center, 8310 Harrisburg Road, Charlotte, NC 28215
Date/Time: Sunday, May 17 | 5:30 PM - 9 PM

Volunteers are needed at 5:30 PM sharp to assist with the event production. 
*Actual tasks will be assigned prior to or at the event.
*Meals will be provided to all volunteers. 

Tasks for Promoting the event Include:
1. Selling Tickets
2. Distributing flyers and postcards
3. Community Outreach
4. Promoting the online fundraising campaign 

Tasks for the Night of Event Include:
1. Setup
2. Registration
3. Ushers
4. Finance Assistants
5. Administrative Tasks​

**Dress Code:**
The dress code for this event should reflect modesty (i.e. Masjid attire). Volunteers should aim to dress in a manner that reflects maturity and professionalism and promotes the Islamic Relief USA humanitarian mission.
