Hale House has a policy to protect their residents who are more vulnerable to colds and the flu. If you have had a flu shot this season, and plan to volunteer regularly at the Hale House, please bring proof of your flu shot from your doctor. You can give the doctor’s note to the front desk receptionist who will give it to the nurse to keep on file. If you have not had a flu shot this season, the front desk can provide you with a mask to wear. Additionally, even if you have had a flu shot but have a cold or are not feeling well, it is best to wear a mask to keep the residents and other volunteers healthy. Thank you for honoring these precautions.
Volunteers will need to sign in at the front desk when they arrive and provide their name, email, phone number, and a one-time photo (taken on an IPad). This is a requirement for all persons entering the building and is a precaution to keep the residents safe. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at [email protected]
