Now Making Dreams Possible with the Auggies

This event is being held to honor Ari’s life, celebrate his legacy, and share the incredible impact he has made on the Augsburg campus.

Through Miracle4Ari, Ari’s story brought the Augsburg community together and inspired students, athletes, coaches, and families to take action.

A special part of this event will be recognizing the impact Ari’s story had alongside Coach Ware and Coach Troy Deden, who helped champion recruitment efforts, engage Augsburg athletics, and encourage students and athletes to join the NMDP Registry and say YES if they were ever called to donate.

Ari’s life created a ripple effect at Augsburg that continues today. This event is an opportunity to remember him, celebrate that impact, and invite a new generation of Auggies to help save lives.

• Talk about the leadership of Coach Ware and Coach Deden and how they helped mobilize Augsburg athletics around Ari and NMDP.
• Invite eligible attendees to join the NMDP Registry.
• Explain that someone joining the registry today could one day become a patient’s lifesaving match.
• Emphasize the importance of saying YES if contacted as a potential donor.
• Help participants complete the registration and swabbing process.
• Encourage attendees to scan and share the Auggies QR code.
• Keep the recruitment area welcoming, energetic, and centered on Ari’s legacy and NMDP’s mission.

Key Message

This day is about honoring Ari’s life and celebrating the impact he made at Augsburg. His story inspired Coach Ware, Coach Deden, athletes, students, and an entire community to step forward and help save lives.
