Community Music-Making Volunteer

Do you love making music and connecting with people? Volunteer at Different Dynamics and help us create life-changing moments through the power of music.

Volunteers assist our musicians and teaching artists during The Music Exploratorium—interactive music experiences held every Wednesday from 4:30–5:30 pm and Thursdays from 10:30–11:30 am and 1:00–2:00 pm. You’ll also have the chance to support Community Music-Making events that bring inclusive music activities to public spaces and festivals throughout the year.

Whether you help someone strum their first chord, keep the beat on a drum, or explore new instruments, your time will make a meaningful difference.

Our busiest seasons are spring and summer, but opportunities are available year-round, including daytime and evening events.
