Childcare Helper (Madison)

Begin Anew is a faith-based nonprofit working to empower individuals to overcome obstacles caused by poverty by providing education, mentoring, and resources. Begin Anew operates programs at these locations: Nashville (locations in the Woodbine area and the Crieve Hall area), Madison, and Franklin. We also have an Online program for our HSE program only. Along with a weekly Community Group and no-cost programming and care for our students’ children, we offer three education tracks: HSE (High School Equivalency), ELL (English Language Learning) in three levels, and Computer and Job Skills.

One of the goals of Begin Anew is to break down any possible barriers for our adult students so that they can attend these classes. A key way we do that is by providing care for the children of students when they are in classes. This volunteer role will support the Childcare Coordinator by caring for these children. We need additional childcare help for our Monday and Thursday night programming at our Madison campus from 6:00 - 8:00pm.

A background check is required to volunteer, and training will be provided by the Program Manager or Children's Coordinator at the campus.
