About this Opportunity
Summary of Position:
SSM Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) is a not-for-profithealthcare organization, that has been providing services to our St. Louis community for over 110 years. During the fall, VNA provides approximately 20,000 flu vaccinations to help protect our community.
VNA is looking for volunteer nurses to help administer flu vaccinations for the 2025 flu season. Clinics will begin in September and end in early December.
Responsibilities & Duties:

Volunteer nurses should be organized, detail oriented, and have good customer service skills to deal with the public.

Must be able to complete insurance paperwork. Accuracy is important.

Volunteer nurses travel to locations in the Greater St. Louis area because VNA provides vaccinations at schools, churches, nursing homes,organizations and corporations.

We are flexible to the individual’s schedule.
Qualifications:

Volunteer nurses should have an active Missouri RN License.

Experience in administering immunizations is a plus.

Volunteer nurses must be able to travel to locations in the Greater St. Louis area because VNA provides vaccinations at schools, churches, nursing homes, community events, organizations and corporations.

TB test results, up-to-date COVID and flu vaccinations (recommended), and CPR certified.
