Help Save Lives This 4th of July Weekend in the Mountains

We’re proud to bring the mission of NMDP to the Vail Lacrosse Shootout, one of the nation’s premier lacrosse events—and we’re looking for compassionate volunteers to help us make a life-saving difference!

📍 Location: NMDP Booth at the Vail Lacrosse Shootout – Ford Park & Athletic Fields, Vail, CO
📅 Dates: July 4th – July 5th
⏰ Time: 9:00AM – 2:00PM daily (Flexible 1 hour shifts)

As a volunteer, you’ll engage with players, families, and fans attending this iconic tournament to share the mission of NMDP (formerly Be The Match) and invite attendees to join the registry as potential blood stem cell donors.

🎯 No medical experience needed—just your heart and your voice. Whether you're outgoing or more reserved, there’s a role for you.

🌟 Volunteer Roles Include:

• Welcoming and engaging with lacrosse fans at our booth

• Educating attendees about how the registry works

• Helping individuals join the registry onsite

• Promoting awareness of the urgent need for diverse donors

This is a meaningful way to be part of something bigger—supporting a life-saving cause while celebrating teamwork, athleticism, and community in beautiful Vail.

For patients with blood cancers like leukemia or lymphoma, a stem cell transplant can be their only chance at a cure. NMDP manages the world’s most diverse marrow registry, and with your help, we can offer more hope to those still searching for a match.
