A Day to Serve. A Day to Connect. A Day to Unite.

Unite With Us Day is a special opportunity to bring the United Way of Greater St. Louis mission to life by volunteering side by side at United Way-supported agencies across Missouri and Illinois.

One of our volunteer locations and supported agencies is Humanitri, an organization that helps unhoused families achieve stability by providing housing, supportive services, and resources they need to thrive.

Volunteer Opportunity – Home Prep for a Purpose

Volunteers will help prepare a Humanitri home for the market by assisting with light repairs and touch-ups. Tasks may include:

• Deep cleaning and decluttering to make the home shine

• Yard work to boost curb appeal

• Staging and final touches to get the property market-ready

By helping ready this home for sale, volunteers directly support Humanitri’s mission—proceeds from the sale will go back into providing housing, case management, and vital resources for families on their journey to self-sufficiency.

Volunteer Info

• Volunteers age 10 and up are welcome (minors must be accompanied by a chaperone)

• Water and snacks will be provided

This project is proudly championed by Alana Kunkel, Midwest BankCentre - VP, Lead Digital Product Manager | UWGSL Women’s Leadership Society, who will be volunteering alongside participants and sharing why they support the United Way of Greater St. Louis.
