About this Opportunity
Tecate Horse Rescue is participating in Campo Days, a two-day community event where attendees can step back in time and explore the wild west legends, rich history, and hidden gems of San Diego's East County. Tecate Horse Rescue will have a booth where they will publicize the organization's activities while raising funds to benefit the horse rescue.
Volunteers are needed to represent Tecate Horse Rescue's booth and encourage folks to volunteer, donate, and sign up for their various activities.
Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes

Attire: Comfortable clothing and shoes are encouraged in addition to dressing in layers due to unpredictable weather. This opportunity takes place outdoors with little or no shade so volunteers should wear sun protection such as sunscreen and a hat.

Bring: Water, a hat, and layers of clothing.

Physical Requirements: Volunteers should be comfortable with sharing information verbally to individuals passing by their booth. This project is able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations. The space where this project takes place is wheelchair accessible and has flat outdoor surfaces, chairs, and a wheelchair accessible bathroom.

Waiver: All volunteers are required to fill out their waiver.

About Tecate Horse Rescue, Inc
The mission of Tecate Horse Rescue is to rescue, rehabilitate, and find forever homes for at-risk equines while also involving them in Equine Assisted Education and Equine Assisted Therapy. They work with K-12 children, first responders, veterans, people with disabilities, and others who benefit from these programs.
