2025 State Surfing Championships - Cocoa Beach

Special Olympics Florida is excited to be hosting the State Surfing Championships at Alan Shepard Park in Cocoa Beach, Florida, on August 22nd & 23rd! 

We are looking for Volunteers to assist with the following duties:

• Assist with the event set-up
• Assist with the healthy athlete screenings

No knowledge of the sport is required, and all training will be provided on-site. Volunteers will receive a T-shirt, and volunteers whose shift is more than four hours will also be provided lunch. A record of community service hours can be provided upon request.

Volunteer shifts are recommended for those 11 years and older. Volunteers under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. If you are interested in volunteering with someone under the age of 11 please reach out to us so we can determine if we have the right role for them!
