Mentor a Student!

Growing up, did you have an adult in your life, who wasn't part of your family, who you knew you could go to for anything? Did you have an adult in your life who encouraged you and inspired you to discover and reach your dreams? Someone who demonstrated the love of Jesus to you? Many of us have mentors throughout our lifetimes, and now is your chance to be that mentor! Are you interested in becoming a mentor to a K-12 student? 

At Preston Taylor Ministries, we believe in the impact of mentorship. As an extension of the three tiers of our mission statement: joy-filled friendships, love for learning and God-inspired dreams, one of our goals at PTM is to provide each student with a mentor- someone who will provide the student with extra support as they walk through life. Mentoring is roughly only a 1 hour/week commitment.  

We currently run and oversee a few mentoring programs at PTM:   

• Lunch Buddies (Weekdays at lunchtime- time varies from school to school, for K-8th graders)  
• RISE (Weekdays between 3:00-5:00pm, K-8th graders)  
• Dinner & Devotional (Monday nights 6:00-7:30pm, for 9-12th graders)
