Jersey Cares Youth Service Event

Volunteers ages 4-18 and their families are invited to join us for Youth Service volunteer events at the Jersey Cares office in Livingston and off-site locations throughout the state.

Youth volunteers will participate in varying volunteer activities with each event bringing something new for volunteers to learn. Join us for these impactful events with the whole family!

PLEASE NOTE: This opportunity aims to allow youth volunteers the opportunity to give back to their community. Since space is extremely limited, volunteers over the age of 18 may only attend if accompanying a youth volunteer. Please follow the below steps to register with youth volunteers. All members of your party must have a space reserved for them.

Creating a Team or Signing up with Minors

• Click “LOGIN”.
• Click on “Not a member? Register”.
• Follow the steps to setup your account.
• Under the “My Account” click on “Create New Team”.
• Fill in all the names, age, and contact information for each person attending.
  • If the youth do not have a phone/email address of their own, please leave the email blank but fill in the phone number (which can be the same as your own.)
• Once your account is setup, revisit this project on our Volunteer Opportunity Calendar.
• Click "SIGN UP WITH A TEAM" located under the project description and then select all team members who will be attending.
• You will receive a confirmation message and project details via email.
• Print and fill out the youth waiver form and bring it with you to the project.

Waivers: All projects have non-negotiable age restrictions that are noted on the upper right side of each project description. If you meet the age restriction but are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian complete the required youth waiver and bring with you to the project. Adults attending the project can expedite the registration process by printing the adult waiver in advance, sign and bring with you.
