About this Opportunity

The Teen Tech Program Aide will assist library staff in organizing and facilitating fun and educational technology programs for teens ages 13-19. Aides will be instrumental in keeping a safe, positive learning environment for programs involving Lego Robotics, 3Doodler pens and other items available at the library location where they are working. The Teen Tech Program Aide will also work closely with the Digital Literacy Lead Instructor and Teen library staff in preparing workshops

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 16 years or older.
  • Currently enrolled in High School or a graduate.
  • Minors must possess parental/guardian consent  - (click to download)
  • Must be able to commit to 6-8 hours a week for 10 weeks
  • Possessing technical skills highly encouraged to apply.
  • Able to work in a shared space.
  • Follow-through with commitment to and organizing program schedule.
  • Ability to establish, develop, and maintain data entry and report systems follow-up.
  • Possess thorough organizational skills and an attention to detail.
