About this Opportunity
This Boxing Project is a volunteer opportunity in our Concord warehouse. This is a fast-paced assembly line-type project where volunteers fill food boxes to be given out at our food distributions. Volunteers will be packing boxes with shelf-stable items ranging from pasta to canned foods, so bending and lifting are involved. This position does require frequent standing, bending, and the ability to lift during this volunteer opportunity.
- All volunteers must be individually scheduled and must be 16 years of age or older. Team Registration is not available for this opportunity.
- Masks are optional for all volunteer shifts.
- If you sign up for a shift that you cannot attend, please log into your account and remove yourself so that someone else can sign up to help us.
- Volunteers are not allowed to stay past their shift hours, nor to come in early.
- All volunteers must wear a nametag and closed-toed shoes.
- The warehouse temperature can vary so volunteers should dress accordingly; we recommend volunteers dress in layers.
- Volunteers may be asked to stand, bend, and lift food boxes and bags.
- Individuals needing court-ordered community service MUST complete the court-ordered community service request online and be accepted prior to signing up for a shift.
