About this Opportunity
Thank you for volunteering for service to Camp Rhonda and surrounding camps. We will supply food, drinks, and supplies on rotating Thursdays.
Camp Rhonda is a homeless encampment that was named after one of the residents that lived there. She passed away in 2021. It used to be at a central location, but after sweeps by the City of Dallas, it became scattered to several locations. On Thursdays between we go to the camps and provide dinner, and clothes, shoes, hygiene, sleeping bags, firewood, tents and etc.Starting point is TBA because of frequent encampment sweeps.
**PLEASE WEAR YOUR HHOH SHIRT, AND IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE, WEAR PURPLE IF YOU CAN!**
