**Please Note: This is a volunteer interest form, and not an application to volunteer. Please visit our website and fill out an application that applies to you. You can volunteer once your background check clears and you've scheduled your first shift and orientation.**

Crossroads is first and foremost a food pantry, but also so much more than that. By compassionately serving individual households through food equity research, innovation, and distribution partnerships, Crossroads is revolutionizing food pantry services and building nutrition-stable communities.

1. How can volunteers help our cause?
-Volunteers are the heartbeat of Crossroads. Their efforts are unmatched and doesn’t go unnoticed. In addition, the more volunteers we have, the more assistance we can provide to our clients and families.

2. How can volunteers sign up?

Once you know what day(s) and times work best for you, please visit the link down below and submit an application. Once you submit your application and clear the background check; someone from the volunteer engagement team will contact you to sign up for your first shift.

3. What can volunteers do during a shift?

• Help restock our client-choice market.
• Assist shoppers at our checkout station, ensuring that our shoppers get all the food they need. 
• Help clients load their groceries into their vehicle.
• Help shoppers build their grocery list. 
• Sort Produce for our client-choice market.
• Build emergency food boxes for those who don't have an appointment and needs food. 

4. Who can volunteer with us?

Anybody 10 years old or older can volunteer at our client-choice market. Please note, any volunteers under 18 must provide consent from one of their parents or guardians before volunteering. Additionally, any volunteers between 10 and 14 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the shift. 

Additionally, volunteers must be able to stand/walk for up to 3 hours and lift at least 25 pounds. 

5. What are our available shift times?

Monday-Friday:
9:00 am- 12 pm

10:00 am- 1:00 pm

1:00 pm - 4:00 pm *Restocking/Market Prep*

4th Thursday of the Month:

1:00pm- 4:00pm

2:00pm- 5:00pm

1st Saturday of the month:
9:00 am- 12:00 pm

10:00 am- 1:00 pm
