Carr P. Collins Mobile Food Pantry 2024

The pantry is open from 8:30-10:30am Monday and Wednesday and helps feed around 150 households a day in Dallas County. Volunteers are asked to arrive by 8:00am to help with set up, and must be 16 years or older or accompanied by an adult. Please wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, and a mask. 

Fridays - Volunteers will prepare dry good bags and help with other projects around food pantry area and warehouse.

 Volunteers park in the back of Carr P. Collins building.  If you travel east on Harry Hines, turn left on Butler (by Arby's) and right on Redfield. Enter the far gate to park in visitor parking. Garage doors will be open, and volunteers can check in here. 

 For court-ordered service hours, please contact the event organizer to complete the necessary paperwork before signing up for a volunteer shift.

 To schedule a group (5+ volunteers), please contact the event organizer to reserve a date.

 UPON ARRIVAL, YOU ARE ABLE TO SIGN IN ON YOUR MOBILE DEVICE.

 Volunteers are also welcome to donate grocery store bags (plastic or paper are preferred)
