**Please Note:  This is a volunteer interest form, and not an application to volunteer.  Please visit our website and fill out an application that applies to you.  You can volunteer once you have completed your application and been approved.

Hearts for Homes is a Christian outreach providing hope and dignity through home rehabilitation and maintenance, affording low-income seniors, ages 60 and over, a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning home in which to age in place.

1.  How can volunteers help our cause?

Volunteers are the lifeblood of Hearts for Homes providing thousands of hours of direct, hands-on service to our seniors through our Home Repair Program or Case Management Program. If you feel called to be part of our programs and assist seniors in need in the Denton County community, please complete our online application.

2.  How can volunteers sign up?

Access our website above and complete an application online.  We will then connect with you and get you started volunteering!

3.  What can volunteers do during a shift?

Our Case volunteers get assigned to a senior where you live that you befriend!   Our minimum requirements are calling and texting your senior monthly and completing a home visit at least quarterly.   You will be trained by a volunteer coordinator according to your schedule.   This is a team of volunteers that meets monthly, currently at our Denton office at either 1pm or 6pm, but attendance to this in-person meeting is not mandatory as we send agendas and meeting minutes.  This team reviews completed applications to decide if seniors are approved for our program and learns about other senior services that may assist your senior.   This team also helps with special events and 3 fundraisers if your schedules allow.    For more information, please call Shaun at 940-891-0947 or email.

Please note that the address in the opportunity is a generic address - you will receive specific location once we are connected with you!
