Wildlife Education & Avian Care Volunteer

Join us in caring for our incredible birds of prey and educating the community about these fascinating creatures!

As a volunteer, you'll help clean avian ambassador enclosures, raptor food preparation, feed avian ambassadors, support the operations of resident mouse house, present at education programs, lead trail walks, and support ambassador training (with previous experience and/or training).

Blackland Prairie Raptor Center is committed to preserving the environment through education, conservation, and wildlife rehabilitation. We focus on restoring the Blackland Prairie, rehabilitating injured and orphaned raptors, and educating North Texans about the vital role these birds play in our ecosystem.
