About this Opportunity
The Heritage Farmstead Museum in Plano is needing docents for our historic houses, Grounds Guides, and Guest Services staff. We are open Thursday-Saturday, 10 am - 2 pm. Weekend volunteers are especially needed. Training for docents for the historic houses will be Monday, April 25, 11 am - 12 pm with lunch provided. Grounds Guides and Guest Services staff training is ongoing by shadowing current volunteers. Grounds Guides walk the property and answer questions from guests. Guest Services staff sell admission tickets and merchandise. Volunteers must complete an application and pass a background check.
