About this Opportunity
As aVITAvolunteer, youll provide tax preparation service to taxpayers who do not have the ability to prepare their own tax returns. Some of the volunteer opportunities include being a greeter, a reviewer, a tax preparer and more. Volunteer hours are flexible. Training is free and easy. Dont know that much about taxes? Dont worry youll receive certification training from a certified VITA volunteer or IRS employee. After the completion of the training, you will be an IRS-certified preparer. Online training begins in November and runs through January prior to the new tax season.Learn more.
