Volunteer Barnstormers Ushers Needed!

United Way of Lancaster County and the Lancaster Barnstormershave teamed up to recruitvolunteers to serve asushersat upcoming games. In return for the volunteer ushers' time,the Barnstormers will make a $20 donation to the United Way program of the volunteers choice.

When signing up, volunteers can choose from one of threeprogramsto support:

• United Ways Emergency Response Fund willgoto towards supporting the needs of our community during current and future emergencies.
  
• Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) will go to support free income tax preparation services for low-and moderate-income individuals and families in Lancaster County.
  
• Choosing211 will help fund the free, confidential, non-emergency, comprehensive information and referral service that connects residents in need with health and human services support.

The sign up process is simple. Volunteersages 16 and overcomplete a short registration form. They will then be able to choose their volunteer dates and times. After a short orientation, they will be ready to serve as ushersin the stadium.Each shift is 3 hours long and volunteers are welcome to sign up for multiple shifts throughout the season.
