About this Opportunity
Provide instruction in signing, or non-verbal, visual communication to those learning as a second language. In addition to English, must be fluent in American Sign Language which has its own grammatical structure and incorporates the use of body language, finger spelling, and signing.
Play a role in helping students participate in deaf culture, while enabling communication between deaf and hearing people. Giving non-deaf students the chance to learn sign language and communicate with the deaf community.
