Join the City of Houston's Disaster Relief & Recovery Point of Distribution Volunteer Team and make a difference in times of crisis!

When disaster strikes, our community needs helping hands more than ever. The City of Houston is calling compassionate, committed individuals to join our volunteer team to support disaster recovery efforts across the city as needed. Points of Distribution Sites: Locations TBD

Volunteer Responsibilities

• provide critical aid by distributing essential supplies like food, water, ice, etc. during emergencies
• Physically able to lift and stand for long periods
• Work with PODS staff to ensure smooth operations
• Manage the flow of people, vehicles, and supplies

Volunteer Requirements

• Review Disaster Relief & Recovery manual (manual will be provided via email)
• Complete the City of Houston Volunteer Waiver Form (form will be provided via email)
• Attend a Disaster Relief & Recovery informational session via TEAMS
