About this Opportunity
CrowdDoing supports a social innovation venture lab and a portfolio of social enterprises. Both the lab and the social enterprises aim to achieve systemic change through collaboration with virtual volunteers.
Role Summary:
We are looking for a strong writer with an inquisitive nature who can find something intrinsically interesting with any assignment. This role requires someone who can be creative with content strategy, who is self-motivated, organized and possesses strong self-editing skills. The ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and clients is crucial for success.
This is an unpaid volunteer position.
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Proficient in WordPress, MS Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent writing, storytelling, copy editing skills.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO and web analytics.
Essential Tasks:
- Translate content ideas into actionable tasks.
- Create and manage content marketing calendars.
- Self-edit and edit content produced by other team members.
- Use SEO best practices to format and publish content.
- Ensure content has a consistent look and feel and is properly formatted for various online channels.
- Track, measure and report on content performance.
- Collaborate with team members from other marketing channels to ensure a cohesive strategy for shared clients.
- Manage multiple projects and topics simultaneously, seamlessly moving from niche to niche as needed.
