Mental Health Education and Support Facilitators

Be abig part of NAMI Gulf Coast's mission is providing mental health education and support to individuals and families impacted by mental illness as well as the professionals who assist them. We are looking for volunteers who are interested in being trained to facilitate local online support groups and teaching mental health education courses.

Training and curriculum will be provided. You just need to have a passion for people, be comfortable with public speaking, and have a lived experienced with mental illness (rather as a family member, friend, or own experience); we provide the rest! Bilingual (Spanish speaking) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply for this volunteer opportunity.
