About this Opportunity
CrowdDoing supports a social innovation venture lab and a portfolio of social enterprises. Both the lab and the social enterprises aim to achieve systemic change through collaboration with virtual volunteers.
Role Summary:
Hackathons Program Manager is responsible for virtual hackathons that we've run that we aim with project management to run on a cycle aligned to our other impact themes.
This is an unpaid volunteer position.
Qualification:
Program Management and Implementation knowledge.
Essential Tasks:
- The program managers responsibility will be to help drive execution for a team of volunteers.
- Assess, design, develop, and implement best practices related to the program.
- Partner with leads to determine program goals, resources, and implementation approach.
- Track and report on program milestones.
- Identify training or process improvement opportunities and provide recommendations.
- Communicate issues and trends regarding program delivery and recommend solutions to effectively resolve these issues.
- The program manager will check on key tasks, add and assign new tasks, and send an update email.
Skills:
- Proven ability to partner and collaborate with others at all levels within the organization.
- Strong organizational and program management skills.
- Ability to develop a vision and strategy while working in a collaborative manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with volunteers at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working in a start-up nonprofit organization.\
