Garden Maintenance Volunteers Needed - Wesley Community Center

Volunteers will assist with planting and maintaining 14 raised garden bedsthat grow a varietyof fruits and vegetables using organic practices. The garden supports ourcommunity pantry, with 98% of the harvest donatedand 2%available for volunteers to take home.

Volunteers will help care for the garden year-round,including watering, weeding, harvesting, and protecting plants based on weatherconditions. The pantry is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and on the third and fourth Saturday of the month from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Currently, we have two volunteers who assist once a weekandone volunteer who helps more frequently, and we are looking to expandour volunteer team.No prior gardening experience is requiredjust awillingness to help and learn!
