Ensure Feeding Agreements are in place before disaster strikes

The purpose of this position is to provide support to leadership of Disaster Cycle Services workers in performing feeding activities during preparedness, response, and recovery within a Region.

Feeding provides snacks, meals, drinks and water using Emergency Response Vehicles or other vehicles on routes within the impacted area or at a fixed location such as community center.

This position supports the collaborative leadership of the feeding program within the region including:
1. Support overall feeding program, ensuring feeding guidance is observed
2. Ensure effective, collaborative planning for feeding operations in the region, including documenting the plan and keeping it current
3. Helps create partnerships to address feeding needs identified in regional plans, including requirements for regional, cultural, and health-related dietary requirements, coordinating feeding operational plans and managing expectations around feeding capability, capacity and reporting
5. Build feeding capacity and capability through partnerships, recruitment, training and mentoring
The volunteer in this role will focus almost completely on obtaining and maintaining feed agreements from across the region.
