Position Overview: The Social Media Intern will assist in managing and creating content for the organization's social media platforms. This role involves working closely with the marketing team to enhance the company's online presence and engage with the community.
Responsibilities
Create and schedule posts for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
Monitor and respond to comments and messages.
Assist in developing social media strategies to increase engagement and followers.
Analyze social media metrics and prepare reports.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create cohesive campaigns.
Research current social media trends and audience preferences.
Help organize and promote social media contests and giveaways.
Capture and edit photos and videos for social media content.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Currently enrolled in a degree program (preferably in marketing, communications, or a related field).
Strong understanding of various social media platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative mindset and ability to generate engaging content.
Basic knowledge of photo and video editing software.
