Freedom Over Texas 2025

The Mayor needs you to help Houston lead Texas in celebrating our nations birthday! The Mayors Official Fourth of July Celebration, Freedom Over Texas, will bring thousands of people into the heart of Houston for food, fun, and fireworks!

To help put Houstons best foot forward, we need your help as event volunteers. Assignments will include assisting as festival greeters, ticket sellers, gate scanners, or helping out in one of the many zones that make up the festivals infrastructure. In return for your time, you will be treated to world-class entertainment, free parking, dinner, great refreshments, and a dazzling fireworks display. We hope to see you on the 4th!
