Community Support Team (5-8 People Required)

As a community sponsor team, youll work alongside CIRA staff to help a refugee family thrive in their new home. This opportunity is more than just providing support- it's about building relationships and offering a true sense of community. Your team will make a profound impact by helping a family feel welcomed, supported, and empowered.

Potential areas of support include:

• Setting up their home with essential furnishings and supplies
• Accompanying the family to health appointments
• Assisting with education and ESL support
• Helping with cultural adjustment and community connections
• Offering guidance in job searches and employment opportunities
• Attending meetings with the family's case manager

-Minimum 6-month commitment

-Must be 19 years or older

-Background check required
