Activity Assistant

We provide daily activities that stimulate residents mind, body, and soul. We are committed to helping our residents continue to lead a positive and rewarding life by helping them maintain their independence for as long as possible. Some of our residents suffer from dementia; your support can help them cope with the disorientation they are feeling. A key part of this role will be to provide reassurance and company to residents. We encourage you to share your unique talents and stories with residents.

The Health Center is a busy environment, it is essential that volunteers are independent and proactive. While you need to listen to staff, you also need to seek out the one-to-one experiences.
