Do you enjoy speaking in front of small groups or have experience in public speaking? If so, we need your help! For over half a century, AARP has been the nation's leading social change organization defending, representing, and advancing the needs and wants of people 50+. By joining AARP Alabama as a trained volunteer, you can make a meaningful impact and share your expertise in the community with those eager to learn from the existing prepared presentations. Our Speakers Bureau is dedicated to serving the senior community by providing engaging speakers who present on a variety of topics listed below:

• Fraud - various kinds of fraud and scams to look out for
• Caregiving - help people prepare for the role of caregiving - get affairs in order and learn about resources
• Downsizing - how to manage the process more easily
• HomeFit - show people how to assess their homes for possible minor to major changes so they can make their current home fit their lifestyle as they age (beneficial for people considering new homes or home renovations)
• Virtual Classes - topics of your choosing that fit well into AARP's mission
