Health Services Volunteer

Do you have an active license or certification for RN, LPN/LVN, MD, DO, EMT, PA or Paramedic? If so, the Red Cross needs your help! Volunteers are needed to provide hands on care for shelter clients to include assistance with activities of daily living, wound care, incontinence care and assistance with functional needs. Additionally, participants will provide health education and assessments, replace medications, advocate for client needs and support maternal and child needs.

Volunteers must make a 2 week commitment, be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid drivers license and be willing and able to volunteer in person at a disaster shelter before, during or after a disaster event.
