AFAC for Columbia Forest (Distribution Assistance)

Support Resident Services with an AFAC (Arlington Food Assistance Center) grocerydistributionlocated in one of our properties near the Columbia Forest neighborhood in Arlington, VA.

This is a program led by staff; volunteers can expect:

-Distribution Assistance (assist with unloading and loading, setting up the community room, handing out grocery options to residents attending).

Volunteers should be comfortable working with other volunteers, staff, and families. Volunteers may need to move up to 15 lbs. Bilingual (Spanish/Amharic) preferred but not required.
