Bike the Barns Volunteering

Bike the Barns is a full-day cycling adventure that embodies the mission of FairShare. Casual riders and seasoned cyclists travel scenic country roads throughout the ride and stop at local farms to enjoy farm tours, gourmet local food, craft libations, and live music.

But Bike the Barns is about more than just the ride - it's about supporting local farmers and making fresh food accessible to all. Bike the Barns is FairShare's largest fundraiser, supporting our work and the PartnerShares Program, which helps low-income households afford farm-fresh vegetables. And volunteers make it possible!

From pre-ride activities such as rider-bag stuffing and route marking, to day-of opportunities including parking, food service, food waste diversion, and more- there are multiple ways to get involved with this celebratory event in service of good food for all.
