Jackson County JLR Classroom Reading: Jackson Heights First Grade Honea 1A (PM), Friday, Apr 24, 2:30 2:45 pm (1 Class)

Readers are needed for United Way of Kaw Valleys Junior Leader Reader program (JLR)! Through JLR, volunteers get to read to classrooms, then distribute a copy of the book to every student in the class! The reader will pick up books at the front desk of the school. If other arrangements need to be made, please notify Carli Keiling prior to reading time at [email protected]. Each reader will be given 15 min per classroom which makes up the total reading time (i.e. if reading time is 12:00-12:45pm that equals 3 classrooms to read to). Readers will check in at the main office of the school then be directed to the classrooms they are assigned to. After reading they will distribute books to students and give other materials to the teacher to send home with the kids.
