06/27/26: United Way Day of Action

UnitedWay forSoutheastern Michigan is partnering with the Kresge Foundation and the DetroitParks Coalition to expand access to literacy resources across Detroit by installing Born Learning Trails and Little Free Libraries in city parks throughout Detroit.

Volunteers are invited to join us at our kick off project on June 27, in honor of United Way's Day of Action! Taking place from10 a.m. - 12 p.m., volunteers will install a Born Learning Trail and complete general outdoor beautification tasks throughout the park. A celebratory lunch will be served to all volunteers once the project has concluded.

The final project site is currently being determined, but will be located in Detroit (48219 or 48228).
