Youth for Understanding (YFU) is one of the world's largest and most respected international exchange programs. YFU exchanges American and international students in over 70 countries worldwide! Whatever you are good at or interested in, you will find a volunteer position at YFU that is ideal for you!

Volunteers perform a wide range of tasks, including:

• Mentoring students, families and schools
• Encouraging potential American students to study abroad and families to host international students
• Interviewing prospective students and host families
• Planning and conducting orientations for students and families
• Sharing information with the community about YFU programs and opportunities
• Performing administrative activities
